Musical Monday – So Many Days by Julie Doiron

I haven’t formed an opinion on this yet, but you can listen to the full album here.

I really loved ‘Julie Doiron and the Wooden Stars’ even though it was terribly depressing. I’ve heard her other albums are similar, in the sense that she doesn’t make happy albums.

Wordy Wednesdays – Parasites, Paleoclimate, and the Peopling of the Americas by Montenegro et al

Here’s what I’ve been reading:

Parasites, Paleoclimate, and the Peopling of the Americas

Thrilling. Characters could use some work.

I mean, uh … can these scientists discover if the Clovis people were able or capable of bringing the hookworm to the Americas when they crossed Beringia? Can they solve this ancient mystery of love and betrayal…before it’s too late?

Musical Monday – Canon by Justice

I was trying to branch out and found Justice.

Neat song. I listen to it on walks. Hard not to get a little strut going.

Anyway, buried under end-of-semester college stuff. Back to it.
